The graphics and beautiful, girly colors on their website are appealing to girls of any age. I have to say that because I loved the cheery atmosphere of it as well and I am just a bit over the recommended age limit. ;)

They in turn, can use their "$coops" to purchase items for their pretend home to furnish, in MiniWorld, or buy cute little accessories for their pet in Pet World. My daughter was very excited to get her first "egg" to hatch, especially when it turned out to be a baby turtle. She named him Sheldon, after her turtle that she has at home.
ALWAYS ICECREAM has many educational games that I feel comfortable letting her play, because I know that while she is having fun, she is also learning. I admit some things are well above her head, but that is ok, since she is on the lower end of the age range.
You, as the parent, control what goes on, on this site. Yep, the parents get a report sent to them weekly on their daughter's progress. How convenient! There is also an option for the girls to interact with other members on the site. Although the site is completely safe, this is something that we decided to not partake of, we didn't feel like our daughter needed to just then. She was having fun learning all the new options she could explore, which was plenty to keep her busy. Online safety is assured and certified by Privo. In addition, the communication is moderated, and strict guidelines are enforced about what communication is permissible on the site. ALWAYS ICECREAM is also subject to moderation, it contains no advertising and it's blocked to search engines. Music to my ears. :)
I asked my daughter what her favorite part of ALWAYS ICECREAM was, her reply "Do I really have to pick just one? I love it all, Mommy!" Don't tell him I said so, but my son even enjoyed playing the games! ;)
